I do just like clodfarmer, shoot for aug 1, we have shade in pasture, have really noticed even though they are heifers they rarely calve in heat of day. Most at night early am. Biggest problem this year was buzzards, heifers went 100 calves on ground on their own, then lost 2 to damn buzzards! Had read about it on here never believed it until I caught them red handed.
