Subject: ? For no tillers

Monticello ky
I am all no till here . I have a feild that used to be one of our tobacco patches in other words until a couple of years ago it was mole board plowed . it has been no till 2 years now since we no longer raise tobacco . but it has a definite plow pan and also has about five what was drive rows that can definitely still be seen when planting (very hard) . so my question is, would it be a good idea to run the subsoiler through it this year, and then let it go into permanent no till? Or just let soil structure come back over time ?

Thanks
God Bless
