Subject: Granular fertilizer drives

BC, Canada
I asked over in machinery talk with no luck.

Entertaining the idea of buying our first planter, just weighing options at the moment.

From reading on here I gather it's possible to make a mechanically seed transmission planter into a hydraulically driven planter.. Is it possible to run the granular fertilizer with such an option? So that The rate could be bumped up lot down by 50-100lbs.

There is a 6 row locally, vac, ground drive seed transmission and granular fertilizer.

Thanks
