What makes you think that there will be a reduction only in the less productive areas? I know Ben Reinsche stated on here that he was probably planting more beans than ever and had a lot of folks agreeing with him who themselves were right out of the heart of the corn belt. I believe rent values of the corn belt have moved that area away from being the low cost producer of corn. I know when we get moisture here I can produce corn for less than $2/bushel. I have not been able to do that consistently.............but when we are adequately watered it is easily done.
