2015. 1128 policies sold Total premium 53million, subsidy 38 million, farmer premium 15 million IT PAID OUT 64 MILLION.
Large Daddy, you might want to take back what you said.
Insurance companies are expecting this to be a loser for them. And, that's possibly why they aren't out pushing for policies.
2016 there were 2238 policies sold. They don't have the claim data for 2016 as they have to wait for a person to file income tax before processing the claim. They are expecting losses over premium again.
