N.W. Ohio | Sat: So do you as an American producers want to feed these exports ? Or keep it locked in the bins ?
I disagree, Our grain bins aren't discouraging exports. When price and or basis reach an acceptable level the corn will move. That price level is different for each producer. How can having a good system to keep the crop until the market truly wants it be a bad thing? Just speaking for our own farm each and every Bu. is moved out and the bins cleaned up before the new harvest. I know someone has to store the carryout, but I learned long ago, with a strong summer basis, that person should not be me. If anything, move it on a strong basis and carry over the crop on paper.
