Subject: RE: soybean prices

IDK - Seems to me your comment is partisan in nature.

Do you understand the difference between free trade and balanced trade? Most every other country in the world practices balanced trade over our free trade policies. The result is on-going trade deficit in the US of to the tune of $500 Billion per year of which China is responsible for $350 Billion or so per year. Do you agree with such vast sums of money leaving the US for China never to return????? What if Trump demanded that China purchase more from the US to achieve balanced trade? Might that result in more US agricultural products being exported to China including Soybean sales??? Will more demand from China increase or decrease US Soybean prices?

Obama did nothing but to address this issue - in fact, he promised to expand the deficit through the SE Asia multi-country trade deal which Hillary was in favor of until she entered the later stages of the US election and needed more votes. Trump's stated policies all along will reverse the trade deficit problem.

Or, do you simply imply that the US is too rich and we need to continue to export our wealth to other country's via our trade deficit so we are just as poor as everyone else and should continue to fund China's military's expansion that will likely be used against us????

I have many more thoughts, but will a wait your response before sharing more.
