Patch antenna is only good for sub meter pass to pass accuracy. It also needs 5volts, compared to 12 volts for the Ag15 antenna. That's why the 250 asks you which antenna you are using in the gps setup. I've seen them melt...
Unless you can change the antenna output voltage through your other receiver, it wouldn't be a good idea.
