For the majority of guys who grow commodities that are already covered by MPCI (corn, beans, wheat, milo, cotton, rice etc...) this product is basically crop insurance without the subsidy. So, basically triple your premium for about the same coverage. Now, in more exotic types of crops/rotations etc... it might have a place.
