Subject: RE: controlling a double-link plow with IntelliSlope

NW Ohio
With the newer design plows, it would have to be dang hard ground in order to put down pressure on it. Some of the early plows had a short nose and didn't create enough down pressure to hold on hard conditions. We have ran them in our clay when bone dry, it almost turns to concrete, and haven't need down pressure on the newer machines.. Soft like muck in Indiana up pressure is a must.
