As GPSdude said, this is what Trimbles Pitch/height is for. I don't know if Intellislope does it the same way or not.

As for using a laser unless you are in water sand, or peat bog/much, most just run the grade off the front cylinder which changes pitch with the linkage hence the shank. Seldom do these plows need down pressure. If guys ran in the sand/muck they would install a slope sensor either auto or indicate and control manually. There are many old tile guys that will tell you that you cannot put in tile without a grade break system and you need a slope controller. They are both nice but not necessarily a needed item.

I have put laser systems and GPS systems on about every style plow/wheel machine out there. Situation and how much you want to spend dictates need/want.
