Subject: winter reading

just learned about an interesting project that has resulted in the publishing of 4 biographies of innovative Indiana farmers.

here is a link to some info about the project:
http://www.slideshare.net/cmillikan/legacy-tree-books-llc

and here is a review of one of the books from Amazon.

"This book is well worth reading. Never again will I take sophisticated farming methods and soil conservation for granted. This biography is an interesting story of an admirable Indiana farmer who unselfishly worked to improve soil conservation on his own farm and led others to do the same. It also explains the evolution of modern farming and how the intelligent diligence of Mr. Rawlings increased farm yields. It is a great story of how one man can make a difference"

I don't have any connection to this project other than that I just ordered 2 of the books :)

Have any of you read any of these biographies?
