South Central Wisconsin | I always eagerly read reports on washers/dryers. Mainly because my experience has been opposite of most folks. We purchased a set of used Samsung front-loaders from my mother-in-law about 5-6 years ago. She was alone, so didn't get used too hard. She had them for 2-3 years before selling to me.
We are a family of five, a much higher use pattern.
So far, they have been wonderful! Absolutely no complaints, except for having to leave the door open for the washer to dry out. Nothing broken, nothing wrong. Just darn good at cleaning our clothes.
The washer has never touched commercial laundry detergent. My wife makes our own. Maybe that makes a difference?
Also, always on soft/conditioned water. | |
