Northwest Missouri | Stopped by st Joe stockyards special cow sale today. Had a packed house.
p3 heifers 1600-1800 Group of reds were middle of that range. 1200 pound black heifers at the top. Some sim angus cross towards the bottom, some were no saled. They all weighed bout 1k. All looked pretty nice to me.
4&5 yr old p3's 81 head all black all uniform $1885 first draft went $1950
Had some pairs too $2250 young with big calves, older pairs mostly around $1800.
Thought it was a pretty good sale. Wasn't really interested in buying anything but if I was I think I would have come home empty.
