Question....how do you think the Mavic or other DJI machines would act on active track if there were other machinery criss-crossing the paths of the target machine? Would the drone track the one closest? Not sure why it would be able to stay fixed on the original subject machine.
I guess it might be confused if you had two practically identical machines as this is all done visually as opposed to the follow me mode which follows the controller using GPS. Having said that I've seen videos where people have followed their car and it stayed locked on despite passing other parked and moving cars. Another one they were following an ice skater on a relatively crowded rink and again it stayed locked on him though he was wearing a bright coat.
