East Central Indiana | I'm guessing Tom's vid had the DJI Pilot app which has become the DJI Go app. He has some P4 videos showing the go app.
I haven't flown with follow-me yet, but first you have to enable multiple flight modes under aircraft settings. Next, take off in P mode and hover. Now switch to F mode, and the F mode functions (including follow-me) will appear on the left side of your screen.
I've done all the updates and everything is working for me. Dronedeploy forced me to have current firmware and i've flown several grid missions without a problem.
