Mbmaring - 12/26/2016 21:24 Got a phantom 4 for Christmas from myself and in the mountains for the winter. Are they hard to fly with no experience in the mountains? Have not flown it yet still learning and thinking I should drive to a nice open flat spot at least the first time.

I'm pretty new at the flying part too but I find once off the ground it is not too hard to control. At least out here in mostly flat land.  Important to have a level spot to land as I've had trouble tipping mine over in the snow.
