The Standard FW update is done via DJI Go App exclusively.
There is no SD card loading involved as in the Advanced and Pro.
After you connect to the controller via WIFI, if you get a FW update message, you then drop that connection and connect via an internet connection (cellular, wifi (preferably) to download the FW update.
You then reconnect to the RC via wifi to initiate it.
