Southeast WI | I saw what it was, knew what the show was and skipped over it. Believe it or not old white guys are not in the wheel house of programming for most TV stations. Fox News caters to that segment...
I suspect, just suspect programming follows the advertising money. For example, the super bowl is coming up again, which I hardly watch, and look for the bashing thread on the halftime show that comes up here. That show is there because it's popular and attracts a lot of money. Generally not yours or mine, although I'm pretty open to a lot of music choices - just not old twangy country garbage for example. |

| I've watched both 'Hairspray ' movies, and have watched it performed at a dinner theater in Kansas City (my favorite) It is our 14 year old African American daughters favorite movie - a more light hearted way to talk about integration. Whatever that was last night was positively HORRIBLE!!!!!! The mother was a horrible choice, the singing weak at best, and those fan commercial breaks could not have been any more contrived. Glad I didn't watch it all, disappointed at what it was. Now would you like to know how I really feel about it?! Lol |
