I know, most of us including me have given up on the History Channel, but you would think on the 75th anniversery they could have something about the attack.   Nope, it's American Pickers followed by several programs about the Vikings the rest of the night.    At least Turner Classic Movies has Tora Tora Tora on.

I have done quit watching History Channel long ago. It's boring with useless shows.

EC ND
Earlier today they had a 75th Anniversary Special that was on. I am not sure why they aired it in the middle of the afternoon instead of in prime time.

Local PBS station will have a show about Pearl Harbor at 9:00 pm.

I think the PBS stations will differ what and when they air shows; it may be worth your while to check your local PBS programming, if you are interested.

If I could cancel certain channels history channel would be cut. Pushed to be one of my favorites. Just American lickers and aliens now.

There is a heck of a diameter of a bore size in those guns, the rifle-ing is like quarter inch or larger key stock spiraled inside they barrels. 20 mile target range on the Missouri.
I seem to remember a photo and story of where a family was killed in a car 7 miles from the Arizona when it got attacked and exploded. Schrapnel flew airborn for 7 miles and hit that car and family. Teh photos of destruction are really eye opening.
Oil si still leaking out of the Arizona. You can smell it and see it on the water in the memorial, Fish are swiming under it.
Thank you to our Veterans. Many gave all....

Actually, my Facebook feed is full of posts commemorating Pearl Harbor today.  Maybe it has to do with the people I tend to associate with, though.  Here is the one I have linked to my wall this evening.

Correct, except I think it originally aired Sunday night. I watched it and it's quite good.

Been watching and very much enjoying WWll in the Pacific on channel 127AHC. Lots and lots of actual footage and coverage of Nimitz vs. Yamamoto.

Try turning on The Weather Channel, they try real hard to avoid giving us weather updates. They seem to be the new history channel on TV.

Besides AHC, Smithsonian channel which we get on Dish 367 had good feature on Pearl Harbor. Lotta programming there for folks that used to like History channel. None of that conspiracy, extraterrestrial and other BS that's seems to be on so much now. most of Science channel, Nat Geo and the like has gone to Hell. History Channel is totally useless, History 2 changed to Vice. Tells how to grow, make drugs, how to pick up a gay date, what crap.

Had a friend that was in Vietnam and he said they were on patrol one day and came across these huge craters. Could not figure what made them. Decided it had to be a battle ship shelling. He said the craters were huge.

Recalled to duty in 1968, New Jersey reported to the gunline off the Vietnamese coast, and shelled North Vietnamese targets before departing the line in December 1968.
