Killing fescue in buffalo grass

Subject: Killing fescue in buffalo grass


NEKS		How do you get fescue out of buffalo grass?
Currently the buffalo is dormant, the fescue is still green. Can I spray the fescue with glyphosate?
Worst area is in shady area where the buffalo doesn't do as well.

W. Kansas		That's what I've done out here on the opposite side of the state. I usually do mine in the spring while the buffalo grass is dormant, gets the cheat grass too which I fight every year.
