NW Ohio, near Findlay | Don't know how much you use your laser, everyday or just as needed. When I worked for a excavating company, we kind of gave up on rechargeable batteries. Too costly first of all, and won't hold charge. We just used a very good set of D cells and kept spares in box. Note: The model we had was a 12Volt one and was an older unit.
Now, I have a laser for my part time business, think it's a Spectra 1242. It seem to last a long time on 4 Dell cell batteries. It has the visible red light, maybe newer model don't use as much power as the older ones do. One thing I do is remove the batteries in the laser and receiver when not in use for the winter. | |
