N.W. Ohio | Myself, I have never changed my fertilizer application because I had put lime on the field. Just my opinion, but this being a farm that you will likely be farming for quite some time and with where fertilizer prices have fallen to, if money allowed I would apply according to soil test recommendations. But then again, I'm the kind of guy that figures if I get $1.05 return for $1.00 invested in p & K fertilizer, I figure it was a good investment, because the rest is like money in the bank to help you out in future years. | |
