Manitoba, Canada | I was just in an A&W a couple of days ago and one poster on the wall stated that the chickens were raised on a vegetarian diet. First thought I had was how stupid is that, chickens are herbivores naturally. The next thing I thought was the only people who care about vegetarian diets are vegetarians and they won't be ordering chicken anyways so just who is their target consumers? Then I realized that their target consumers are the majority of people because the majority of people no longer have much of an idea how their food is actually raised. Sadly these types of campaigns that rely on people's lack of knowledge are what will shape the future of agriculture. | |
