I had a high pressure NG line go through a rented farm a few years ago. Generally, a good experience like you have found. Good guys, quality work, top soil put back and no junk left behind but don't count on any good production from that area for a good while.

Having said that, we had a large power transmission line go through on the same farm prior to that, I'd rather have a pipe line any day. Those power boys know how to spell compaction.
