It all depends on your perspective.....

With regards to the Boston Tea Party, I'd say it depends which side of the Big Pond you lived on.  If you were living in England during the mid-1770's, I'd be willing to bet that the Boston Tea Party was done by a bunch of hooligans and renegades, and the culprits needed to be found and shot.

If you lived in the Colonies during the mid-1770's, you might be more inclined to see the Boston Tea Party was done by a group of people trying to resist an oppressive government.  And I will add that not all colonists thought the Boston Tea Party was a good idea.
