| Hello. I am asking for help regarding farm accounting with quickbooks. For as long as I can recall my family has kept farm books with a binder and a pen. Due to many factors we have decided that this would be the last year we would do it and would move to a computer program. I am young and have very limited knowledge of "keeping books", with that being said I have been elected to this role due to my across-the-board knowledge of computers, and ability to pick up and learn things quickly. Along with the fact that I will have a person with 40+ years of keeping farm books to help me along the way. With that being said, what are your personal experiences with using quickbooks to keep farm financial records, do payroll, etc. What was your most helpful tool to get you adjusted to using quickbooks? Are there any online classes out there that are specifically for learning to use quickbooks for farming purposes? Thank you.
