Subject: RE: EQIP payments for cover crops

West Union, IOWA FLOLO Farm 52175
I guess I'll be the contrarian.....

I finished my 3yr EQIP deal......id do it again in a heartbeat.

I took the time to figure out what I wanted and how to get it, they make the rules...... I played by them.

I negotiated... I got my seeding plan based on seeds per acre, not the traditional pounds per acre.....

It worked great..... If Barry Fischer is the head of your area..... Steer you DC to him, should have leverage? I'd hope. He's a fan of seeds per acre....IIRC

I learned enough, 100% of my acres are covered.....because I figured out how to make them work on my farm....

But.... You mentioned contract. If you signed already...... Hope you know what you signed

I maxed out acres in first swing, glad I did......I went to sign up rest and they changed the rules...
