Subject: RE: tiling flat area

WNW Illinois, Henry Co
put pattern tile in a field in 1998, deep chiseled it with a quad track and ripper type dont even remember what is was, ;no tilled since then and can see the depressions to this day, tho not enough to bother. one other field tiled in 2004, field cultivated after beans two years, not tilled now 6 MPH is max comfortable speed with sprayer 90 dearees to tile. it is pretty flat too.

the more i think about it, i might go with the two mains up the slope and just 500 ft runs starting at 4' finishing at 30 inches would help. each main would on be taking 10-15 acres and most tile would be with row. looking at doing it in 2018 either way after wheat so would have time to install.
