indiana | Jon it has been said many times before that most returns in farming will go back to the land. I don't see land declining that much more. Most talk about getting the government out of our farming business and you want em to continue regulating us. Crop insurance , target prices , loan rates , fallow acres ,etc. , all come at a cost and involve government regulation.
I tend to say do away with all of it , including crop insurance. But that won't happen because food is a security issue so expect government involvement to continue in some fashion. | |
