I am guessing you are kidding, it only takes what about 500 k to plant that and pay the rent. You can't retire on 500k.
I'm 52 years old and have known many, many retirees. I don't know even one of them who had 500k when they retired - none.
It is possible, perhaps even likely, that maybe one or more of them did - but they didn't live like they had 500k.
As this is an Agriculture forum - we generally are talking about farmers - right?
