Southwest Missouri | The ground is 20 percent higher than a piece that sold in 2014 2 miles away from it. I would not even be interested in the ground if it was 10 miles away for that price. I will know in 10 years if buying would have been the right or wrong thing to do. Half the people on here keep bringing up the 80s and how young farmers should take a look at history which is bound someday to repeat. I could be mistaken but the people who made it and expanded then payed cash for almost everything and didn't buy assets that didn't even cash flow even interest. That our farms declared chapter 11 and banks wrote some of the debts and they still continued to farm. | |
