Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | I responded to this over on machinery talk. It is somewhat confusing to have the same topic on two sites. Anyway it has no been determined that the Raven is a 450 rather than a 460 which eases the external boom switch box question. It has also been decided that the sprayer has a magnetic sensor for speed so that issue is solved.
It sounds as if auto-swath and/or mapping may be desirable. I mention some solutions on the machinery talk page. Beside the solutions that I offered there is another option of using the serial port connection if the 450 is new enough that it has one. This does not allow for auto-swath but would offer the ability to log and map the application. This can be done with an Ag Leader system and their Application Rate module. Deere has a similar arrangement. |
