Central IA
Deciding on corn for next year. Not a lot, but meaningful to me. 2016 was first year growing crops, picked a good year for beans!

West central IA, Clinton soils. Looking at a slightly shorter season as will be following cover crop and go in 5-10 days later, possibly(cover is Crimson clover, ARG, and radish). Will error on too early termination in spring. Also, want to have good dry down in field when harvesting.

Pioneer rep recommended, 0339, 103 day, BT only. Pioneer rep thought it would do better than 0157 that some have mentioned on this site.

Champion rep really thought 59-A16 would do great, 109 day though. Possibly 56-A13, but rep really likes the first.

DK, 54-40(105 day) and 60-69(110). Not as good price, but close enough to consider. Even if 6 more bushels at 3.50 may be enough.

Plan is spring Anhydrous 155 units N, plus dry PK and 30 units N urea for a little starter(broadcast with PK). Will put enough P&K for 200bpa, but 180 would be realistic(and good)target. Thanks, any hopefully that made sense.
