Subject: cover crop before corn

NW WI
I have a cover crop of cereal rye, hairy vetch, and radish growing. Next year I will have conventional corn in that field.

I'd like to plant into the green cover crop and then come back and kill it the same day or next with round up. The reason is so I can follow the planter tracks with the sprayer. Does anyone see any problem with this? My concerns are that if I don't get a good kill, I'll have to come back with something...but what in conventional corn? Also, I hear people go both ways on allelopathy.

I appreciate any replies.
