I have tried various notes apps. Toodledo is more of a to-do list. Evernote can do lists and notes decently enough. The default notes apps on iOS is OK for quick stuff. But I have abandoned them all for OneNote. In my opinion there is really nothing like it anywhere else. The only thing I don't like about OneNote is that when you put a phone number in a note, you can't dial the phone number by tapping on it, at least from iOS. Small price to pay for all of it's other functionality. You do not need to sync it on your Google drive because it will be synced via OneDrive. Worth what you paid for it.
