I agree but Farmworks made it extra difficult.  I used Farmtrac for years for field records and loved it.  But when I tried to upgrade to Farmfunds to do the bookkeeping it got too complicated.  At the time I was farming with Dad in a loose partnership (he had his, I had mine, but we farmed it all together) and we could not adapt what we were doing to their system.  My wife and I even went to a 2 day class on it and couldn't make it work for us.

The problem is garbage in/garbage out.  To get good info from it you have to invest a fair amount of time putting info into it and in the way it needs it to be.

That was a few years ago and today with smart phones and such it might be more feasible.  I haven't opened Farmworks in a couple years.
