North Central Illinois | Probably not what you want to hear but the best way to solve this once and for all is to run a weather proof hardwire underground to the shop from your router to another device out there that you can pick the signal up from. I would upgrade your entire system to Cat6 cable while you're at it too. As someone else mentioned two sheets of steel plus insulation are going to be extremely tough to get a signal thru. | |
