Subject: Upgradeing wireless router

east central ND
I think I would like to upgrade the wireless router in the house. Not sure if I need it. I have fiber optic to my house and just the low end 10 mbps subscription. It speed tests at around 11MBPS up and down with my wireless laptop. Can bump up to the 30 m for a bit more money. Any way, looking at a new smart TV for watching streaming youtube, Netflix, etc. And would like to get the wifi signal in to the shop about 150 feet away. My phone will hook to the house wireless in front of the shop right now, but once in the steel shop building I lose the wireless. Current wireless router/extender is a Netgear N300 wnr200 v4. Would spending the $$$ to go to a Netgear nighthawk AC3200 or something similar get me a bit more range, and would I use the supposedly better speed for a new smart TV? Or would old reliable be good enough for the TV streaming (and maybe some of that 4k ?? content in the future?), and then get some sort of WiFi system which sounds complicated.
