Subject: New to me Crustbuster ?? Rye Seed sizes and rates

Kalona, IA

I bought a 4615 Crustbuster and am gonna drill rye tomorrow if it doesn't rain to much tonight.

The book doesn't have a setting for rye. It has barley and wheat and millet. My rye is Elbon variety which is somewhat smaller then regular VNS rye. Which seed would be the closest in size to what I've got?

Another question I have, I'd like to keep several acres for seed production for myself. At what rate do growers seed rye for production purposes?

Thanks!

I need to learn how to post pics on here as that probably would be helpful.
