| Understanding what the grower is doing and what his farming practices are key.
Just showing up and selling hybrid A, B, and C doesn't do anyone any good. I feel that my sales rep is very important to me to help me understand traits, placement, intrepetation of plots, etc. so many reps show up and want to sell and go.
My guy takes his time looks at maps, asks questions, etc.
He has made me more bushels over the years and I am willing to follow his advice as he has put money in my pocket.
Sometimes listening to the neighbors isn't all that great because they are more worried about saving a dollar than making bushels. | |
