Find out the bottom dollar price from your neighbors and go to your dealer and say $XXX is what I'll pay per bag for these numbers that I want. If you want my business make it happen. If you can't I'll go to the other guy. As long as you're reasonable and buying a worthwhile number of bags that there's at least a little profit in it for the dealer, he'll make it happen.
Do you believe your neighbors when they tell you their yields and what kind of rent they pay and what they paid for that tractor and how much their ARC payment was and how much they got from crop insurance and on and on and on... |
