Subject: RE: Late 60's

Starbuck Manitoba Canada
About 8 years ago the first F5 recorded in North America hit a small town near us in Elie Manitoba. We never really experience tornadoes up here so everyone in the town came out of their homes and stood and watched it. Very fortunate it changed direction and only destroyed a few homes.
The local contractor that does drywall had just purchased a new van, after running his old one into the ground, and happened to have just picked up many boxes of screws. Not sure if any here have seen the video, but it shows the van coming around the swirl at about the 400 foot level and being tossed into a friends field. Tens of thousands of screws scattered all over the place and many flat tires when picking up the trash left.
Just before it hit the edge of town, it went through a flower mill and destroyed a semi with 50,000 pounds of flower in it the tornado turned white. In the same video a home it perfect shape comes around the swirl again around 300 foot level and then explodes into dust.
A second tornado believed to be an F5 hit a farm yard and then proceeded across the edge of one of our farms. Junk everywhere.
