Subject: RE: We've discussed funeral procession etiquette before

Zabcikville, TX
In a vehicle, I always pull over and stop, take my cap off. In a tractor, I still stop (I'm only going about 20mph anyway), take my cap off, get out of the cab and stand on the steps. Also, a memory I'll NEVER forget. When my grandfather passed away suddenly in 1986 I was 11 years old. This was before roundup ready anything. The procession went by where the "hands" (Mexicans, legal of course) were chopping cotton on one of dads places. Every one of them knew who it was. They all stopped, took their caps off and just stood there as we drove by looking at us as to say "there goes a good man". And he was, a good man.
