What some people call yelling others call conversation and explanation. The same is true of complaining, what some call complaining others call explaining or transmission of information.

I fell off the ladder and broke my wrist isn't complaining, it's transmission of an incident.  Saying it hurts is information and saying you had to wait in the ER for 2 hours is also further information alerting others to the possibility of long wait times.

Much of life is perception and not everyone's is the same.
