| what length of fence are you referring to?
Age old way of a post properly located on each end,,,stretch your first wire reasonable tight. Go on highest hill in each one(high spot) and plant a post and let wire slide thru tree staple. Recheck they fit the 'line' with a scope or binocs. When EVERY high spot is established slack off the wire enough to have a line in the 'low' spots. IF your having trouble seeing all the high spots at the same or close to same time,,,use a taller flag pole,,like a long fishing cane pole with a white or red rag atop
