Mather, Manitoba | There's no 40% chance of rain this time of year. It's either 0% or 100% Never missed a shower but we're all done now. Averaged quarter section a week. Wait a few days. Gets good at about 3pm, go until the quarter is done. Rains overnight and for four days.... Kept 20k worth of aeration bins open for late oct. Their all full of soys and fans running.
Never ever have I had to deep till around wet spots and standing water this late in the fall. Even in 2010 it was dry enough by late oct that we could go corner to corner. We're doing everything twice. Make it black to dry out and level off ruts. October 2004 was like this. November it cleared up, got sunny, windy and warm all month. | |
