Central Kansas | We are in the center of Kansas about 20 miles west of I 135 and could use a rain. We have been above normal temps and there is some dryland wheat pasture available but it needs a rain or won't last. The irrigated looks incredible though and we started turning out Friday. I have 1 neighbor that planted some irrigated rye around August 15th. He told my dad he screwed up and it was already trying to head out because he didn't turn the cattle out quick enough. From here west it just gets drier.
