I usually wean calves and kick them out on wheat pasture. Trouble is, no wheat pasture so far due to dry conditions. So I am thinking that I will go with rolled milo mixed with DDG. I am thinking a 50/50 blend and running at 1% ration of body weight. Also will be running some cane hay and have plenty of dry grass in the pasture. Thoughts?
