Dawn Mo 64638 | Do you have a source of wet DG We have kept wet DG up to 30 days by covering it with clear plastic we peaked it with loader and sealed it with ag lime thrown the top and slide down the sides like a squege We tied a rope between 2 care tire to seal the open end. 1 piece of plastic last for 3 months during the summer I hink it woulf last longer if varments dont tear holes in plastic We alwas had trouble with ddg bloying away with wind or leaking out a crack
We have had calves gaining over 4# fed corn silage wet dg a little lime and free choice grass hay and still sold as green or went on to feedlot at TCSCF an still gained above average
